on 26 July 2019

A prize pool of almost 1 million euro is awaiting the most innovative ideas in the field of satellite navigation to be submitted to the Galileo Masters. Formerly known as the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), the competition rewards the best ideas of applications based on satellite navigation systems. Winners will benefit from support and consultancy for opening a business based on the idea presented in the competition.

The competition is looking for services, products, or business solutions or ideas that use satellite navigation in everyday life domains such as: health, traffic management, transportation, logistics, and many more.

The ideas will be evaluated according to criteria such as technical feasibility, market potential, innovation, usage of EGNSS signals and services, technology adoption, market validation and business model.

The winning idea will receive support in an incubation centre of choice within the EU28 for six months and will benefit from extensive promotion at European level.

Those who wish to apply can do so by 31 July 2019 on the Galileo Masters website.
