Annual Scientific Conference "Romanian Space Week", 12-16 May 2014

on 29 April 2014

Between 12-16 May, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is organising the 2014 edition of the annual scientific conference "Romanian Space Week" (RSW 2014). The event is dedicated to presenting the implementation status of the projects funded through the Programme for Research, Development and Innovation for Space Technology and Advanced Research — STAR, which aims to improve Romania’s industrial competitiveness in the Programmes of the European Space Agency.

RSW 2014 will include a series of events aimed at bringing together the main actors in the space sector: researchers, engineers and technicians, decision makers, space technology and application providers and users. The core event of the week will be the public presentation of the status and latest achievements of the projects financed following the C1-2012 and C2-2013 STAR competitions

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend various sessions and bilateral meetings to exchange ideas and views for future projects and collaborations. The recommendations resulting from debates and open discussions are expected to serve as inspirational inputs for Romania’s next Space Strategy 2014-2020.

The event is held at the Conference Centre of the National R&D Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” (INCAS), located at 220, Blvd. Iuliu Maniu, District 6, in Bucharest, Romania.
Registration should be done no later than 5 May on the dedicated web page.
