ROSA President a featured speaker at the 30th Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, 19-22 May 2014

Marius-Ioan Piso, President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is a featured speaker at the 30th Space Symposium, taking place between 19-22 May in Colorado Springs, USA. The panel called “Space Agency Leaders” takes place on Thursday, 22 May and will feature only four other heads of space agencies in the world:

• Charles F. Bolden, Jr., Administrator, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) USA
• Walter J. Natynczyk, President, Canadian Space Agency
• Ger Nieuwpoort, Director, Netherlands Space Office
• David Parker, Chief Executive Officer, United Kingdom Space Agency

Yasushi Horikawa, Chairman of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space will moderate the panel that will address some of the most pressing global space issues.
The Space Symposium will attract more than 9 000 participants, and feature exhibits of the world’s latest space technology and services. To honor its global guests, the Space Foundation will host a by-invitation international reception on Wednesday, 21 May, providing an opportunity for additional networking. Altogether, more than 20 countries will be represented at this year’s 30th Space Symposium.
