Online meeting with Claudiu Tănăselia, researcher

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites you to attend an online meeting with researcher Claudiu Tănăselia on Friday, 15 May 2020, from 15:00.

The event is organised by ESERO, a project of the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with ROSA, and can be followed live on the ESERO Romania Facebook page.

Physicist, researcher at INCDO-INOE 2000 subsidiary Research Institute for Analytical Instrumentation ICIA, expert in atomic spectrometry, passionate about space exploration, editor of parsec.ro and collaborator of Science & Technology, Claudiu Tănăselia will talk about the exploration history of the Earth's natural satellite.

More than 50 years after the first landing of the Apollo program, NASA is preparing to send astronauts back to the moon, in the programme Artemis. This programme aims for a long-term sustainable human presence on the moon and to prepare expeditions to Mars.

Participants will learn how the Apollo landings were carried out, how the technical challenges were overcome, what are the plans for future Artemis missions, as well as for the future "Moon Village" imagined by Jan Wörner, the Director General of the European Space Agency.
